Today we talk to Rebecca Henderson, the Creative Mornings Charlotte speaker on the global topic of "Wonder" during the June 7 Creative Mornings event at Discovery Place in Uptown. We call this segment, “Creative Mornings Rewind.”
Rebecca Henderson is a multi-disciplinary artist, graphic designer, entrepreneur, organized and a full-time copywriter at local marketing agency Wray Ward. Her work includes being a fellow with the League of Creative Interventionists and owner of the Weird Empire brand. A born-and-raised Charlottean, Rebecca also spent time on the road, traveling to perform and create art.
In this episode of Creative Mornings Rewind, Rebecca talks with hosts Tim Miner and Matt Olin about when writing became a part of her life, how she keeps creativity from turning into chaos, what she learned from her time on the road and how she’d like Charlotte to start seeing the arts as an investment in the community.
