Welcome to the #CharlotteIsCreative podcast. Today’s show features hosts Tim Miner and Matt Olin talking with David Galloway, local artist, creative and fashion maven, immediately following the June 2 Creative Mornings Charlotte event at Warehouse 242.
Davida Galloway is co-owner of Dupp & Swat, a creative hub, studio, event space and even hair salon in NoDa. Opened five years ago with her brother Dion, Dupp & Swat has become a hub for all things creative, from photography to networking to fashion and much more. In this podcast, Davida speaks on what art and creative expression has meant to her, the challenges that artists face, and how Charlotte can overcome those obstacles.
Remember to RSVP to the next Creative Mornings Charlotte event Friday, July 7 at Warehouse 242, and featuring theater actor Abby Corrigan as the speaker on the global theme of equality. Register for this free event by visiting charlotteiscreative.com at 9am, Monday, July 3.
